'INTO THE FIRE' .....SMOAKIN' HOT ACTION........

Into The Fire - An Orphan X Novel by Gregg Hurwitz (2020)   After spending yesterday delving into the murder and misery of "Sapphire" and "Victiim", it's high time for some pure fun........

And nothing's better for enduring these endless Coronavirus days than a lightning-paced thriller about a near indestructible hero up against impossible odds......

Our go-to guy here is Evan Smoak, a.k.a. 'Orphan X'. a,k.a. 'The Nowhere Man' survivor of a nightmarish foster care childhood and graduate of a super-secret school for super secret Black Ops assassins........

Basically, he's Jason Bourne, James Bond, Jack Reacher, John Wick, and The Equalizer all rolled up into one person......and nobody to mess with.

Lucky for us thriller fans, there's never any shortage of villains for who need to get Smoaked into oblivion.........in this case, a shadowy group of conspirators who've targeted some poor, innocent sucker who's stumbled upon info that could take them down.....

Orphan X comes to his rescue, which involves no less than three spectacular, harrowing action set-pieces.......in which our Orphan-ator has to infiltrate and bloodily battle his way out of a dogfighting arena , a prison and a police station......

It's over-the-top, high octane stuff.......the kind of book that makes you flip the pages at warp speed to see what happens next.

We'd always meant to start this series with the first book and and read them in order, but this one, the latest, happened to fall into our hands before the others. Now we can't wait to gobble up the rest of 'em.......

So if you're still stuck at home, like most of us, treat yourself to a one wild ride with one incredible action-packed force-to-be-reckoned with.  At long last, a 5 star (*****) FIND OF FINDS.
