'LOVE, ROSIE'...........AGAIN, CLUELESS SOULMATES......

Love, Rosie (2014)   Stop us if you've heard this one before.....

                   They're the best of friends........who don't realize they're soulmates destined for a happily-ever-after........

But......they don't mind driving each other (and the audience) insane as they take over a decade to figure out who it is they should spend the rest of their life with.........

Wait, wait......you've heard this one before? You've seen this one before?  What?  Three hundred or more times?

As thoroughly generic as this movie is........if you like this sort of thing......it goes down smooth as a creamy milkshake.......

If your normal reaction to a movie like this comes closer to what happens to a vampire when faced with a crucifix.........maybe try our post of "Caltiki The Immortal Monster".......we promise you'll find no soulmates pining for each other in that one......

The success or failure of a Wayward Soulmates movie depends strictly on the charm, earnestness and overall adorability of the couple involved......

All we have to say at this point......Lily Collins and Sam Claflin more than fit the bill....

And per our standard policy, we don't intend to waste untold verbiage and precious minutes of our own time describing the myriad ups 'n downs and reversals of fortune these two lovebirds endure before the last few minutes of the film......

You could easily imagine all the tropes yourselves.....or write them ahead of time.

You either go all in for this stuff or stay the hell away from it.........like the Hallmark movies we sometimes post about, it's a chain restaurant sized slice of chocolate cake.......probably not good for you, but consistently sweet.......and the guiltiest of pleasures.

For those who indulge.....3 stars (***).......for those who roll their eyes upward at the very thought of a such a movie........flee.....(refer to the vampire analogy earlier in the post....)
